What is Wend Game?

Wend Game is a free daily word-path puzzle played in a web browser. Each board hides a fixed set of words inside a letter grid. Solving the puzzle requires finding those words and covering every active tile exactly once without overlapping paths.

How to solve a Wend Game puzzle

Read the target word lengths

The board shows how many hidden words must be found and the required length of each word. Their spelling is not provided, so the letters and remaining space must be used to infer the solution.

Connect adjacent letters

Drag across letters horizontally or vertically to form a word. Diagonal connections are not allowed, and blank block tiles are obstacles that do not need to be covered.

Cover the complete board

Every active letter tile must belong to exactly one accepted word path. Releasing a valid path locks it into the board; if a path prevents the remaining words from fitting, reset it and try another route.

Wend Game daily puzzles

A new set of puzzles is released each day in Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties. The difficulty labels provide separate boards, while the same core rules apply across the set.

Wend Game hints and controls

The reset control clears the board for another attempt. Hints can reveal the next letter of a missing word when a path is difficult to identify. Because the puzzle checks a predefined set of words and paths, a valid English word may still be rejected when it is not part of that board's complete solution.
