Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to PickApps, a curated directory for discovering and submitting AI tools and applications. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PickApps, including directory browsing, account features, tool submissions, paid listing packages, and sponsorship placements.

By accessing PickApps, creating an account, submitting a tool, or purchasing a paid package, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use PickApps.

Service Overview

PickApps provides a directory where users can discover AI tools and where tool providers can submit tools for editorial review. PickApps may offer free submissions, paid listing packages, featured placements, sponsor placements, and related promotional services.

PickApps is not a retailer, reseller, distributor, marketplace, or payment intermediary for third-party tools displayed in the directory. PickApps does not collect payments on behalf of listed providers. Transactions for third-party products take place directly between visitors and the respective providers.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. Directory availability, ranking, visibility, traffic, clicks, leads, sales, and search performance are not guaranteed.

Accounts

You may need an account to submit tools, purchase paid packages, manage submissions, or access account-specific features.

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Tool Submissions and Editorial Review

All tool submissions are subject to editorial review. Payment for a listing or sponsor package does not guarantee acceptance, publication, ranking, traffic, sales, or continued placement.

By submitting a tool, you confirm that:

• You have the legal right to submit and represent the tool.
• The submitted information is accurate, complete, and not misleading.
• The tool is functional, publicly accessible, and relevant to the PickApps directory.
• The tool does not contain malicious code, deceptive claims, unlawful content, or infringing material.
• You will keep listing information reasonably current after submission.

PickApps may accept, reject, edit, categorize, reorder, feature, unfeature, suspend, or remove any listing at its discretion, including when a tool becomes unavailable, misleading, unsafe, spammy, or inconsistent with the directory.

Provider Responsibilities

If you submit or represent a tool, you are responsible for the product, website, pricing, support, claims, data practices, and user-facing terms associated with that tool.

Tool providers should maintain:

• Clear and accurate product descriptions.
• Valid website and support links.
• Transparent pricing and billing information.
• Appropriate privacy and security practices.
• Compliance with applicable laws and third-party rights.

PickApps is not responsible for the operation, quality, pricing, support, security, privacy practices, or availability of third-party tools listed in the directory.

Paid Listing Packages and Sponsorship

PickApps may sell one-time paid packages, including faster review, paid listing placement, dofollow links, featured visibility, and sponsor placements. Package names, prices, durations, and benefits are shown at checkout or on the submission page.

Paid package benefits apply only if the submitted tool is accepted through editorial review. Time-limited placements, such as featured or sponsor placements, begin when PickApps activates the placement after acceptance, unless otherwise stated.

Paid placements do not guarantee any specific number of impressions, clicks, conversions, rankings, backlinks beyond the stated package, revenue, or business outcome. We may adjust placement surfaces, layout, or ranking rules as the directory evolves.

Refund Policy

Our standalone Refund Policy is available at Refund Policy. This section summarizes the same customer-facing rules for paid listing packages and sponsorships.

If a paid submission package is not accepted during editorial review before paid placement benefits are delivered, PickApps will refund the payment for that package according to this policy and the payment provider's capabilities.

Refunds are generally returned to the original payment method when technically possible. Refund timing may depend on Stripe, PayPal, Creem, banks, card networks, or other payment providers.

Refunds may be declined or limited where permitted by law if the submission involves fraud, chargeback abuse, unlawful content, sanctions risk, malicious activity, material misrepresentation, or other serious violation of these Terms.

Once a paid listing, featured placement, sponsor placement, or other paid benefit has been delivered or activated, payments are final unless PickApps fails to provide the purchased service or applicable law requires otherwise.

User Content and License

You retain ownership of tool names, logos, screenshots, descriptions, links, and other materials you submit, subject to rights owned by third parties.

By submitting content to PickApps, you grant PickApps a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, edit for formatting, categorize, promote, and distribute that content in connection with the directory and related marketing.

You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license and that your submission does not violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Submit spam, fake listings, malware, phishing, or deceptive content.
• Submit unauthorized movie, television, music, game, or software streaming or download services.
• Submit counterfeit products, impersonate an official brand, or use names, logos, screenshots, or other materials without the required rights.
• Misrepresent tool functionality, pricing, ownership, availability, or results.
• Interfere with the security, performance, or operation of PickApps.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk collect directory data without permission.
• Bypass payment, review, ranking, or access controls.
• Use PickApps for unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
• Infringe intellectual property or other rights of PickApps, listed providers, users, or third parties.

Third-Party Tools and Links

PickApps includes links to third-party websites, tools, and services. These third parties are not controlled by PickApps. We do not endorse or guarantee their availability, security, accuracy, legality, pricing, data practices, or performance.

Third-party names, logos, brands, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on PickApps does not imply affiliation, endorsement, or reseller authorization.

Your use of third-party tools is governed by the third party's own terms and policies.

Emails and Communications

We may send service-related emails about your account, submissions, orders, review status, refunds, policy updates, or important platform notices. We may also send optional product or marketing emails where permitted. You can unsubscribe from optional emails, but service-related emails may still be required to operate the service.

Intellectual Property

PickApps, including its website, directory structure, branding, editorial content, software, design, and other materials, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from PickApps materials without permission, except as allowed by law.

Termination and Listing Removal

We may suspend or terminate access to PickApps, reject submissions, remove listings, or disable paid placements if we believe these Terms have been violated, if a tool creates risk for users or PickApps, or if continued listing is not appropriate for the directory.

Where reasonable, we may notify affected users, but we are not required to provide prior notice in cases involving security, fraud, legal risk, spam, or serious policy violations.

Disclaimer of Warranties

PickApps is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PickApps disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PickApps and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of PickApps.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold PickApps harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your submissions, tool, website, user content, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on PickApps, unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of PickApps after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
