Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms govern your access to and use of PickApps, including directory browsing, accounts, product submissions, browser tools, editorial review, priority review, and sponsorship services. By using PickApps, you agree to these Terms.

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If applicable law requires authorization from a parent, guardian, or another person, you may use PickApps only with that authorization.

Directory Service

PickApps helps visitors discover third-party apps, AI tools, software, browser games, and utilities. It also allows product providers to submit listings for editorial review.

PickApps is not the retailer, reseller, or operator of third-party products listed in the directory. Transactions with a listed provider take place directly between you and that provider unless PickApps expressly states otherwise.

Accounts

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Browser Tools and Informational Content

PickApps may provide browser-based tools, calculators, games, and informational content. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances and should not be treated as medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

When a tool expressly states that files are processed locally, the processing occurs on your device. You are responsible for having the right to use any file or information you provide to a tool.

Submissions and Editorial Review

All submissions are subject to editorial review. By submitting a product, you confirm that:

• You have the right to provide its information, logos, images, and other materials.
• The submitted information is accurate and not misleading.
• The product and its content are lawful, functional, and free of malicious or deceptive behavior.
• You will satisfy any badge requirement shown for a free listing.

PickApps may accept, reject, edit, categorize, reorder, feature, suspend, or remove listings. Payment does not guarantee acceptance, ranking, traffic, leads, sales, or continued placement.

Paid Directory Services

Current paid directory services are one-time purchases:

• Priority: moves an attached submission into the priority review queue. It does not guarantee approval or any placement, ranking, traffic, or commercial result. Once priority handling has begun or been delivered, a later rejection does not by itself make the order refundable.
• Featured: provides a time-limited featured placement on eligible contextual or directory surfaces after the product is approved and the placement is activated.
• Sitewide: provides a time-limited placement in sitewide rotating sponsor positions after the product is approved and the placement is activated.

Current sponsorship periods run for seven days after activation unless checkout expressly states otherwise. The placement expires automatically at the end of that period. Availability, price, and the benefit displayed at checkout apply to the purchase.

Sponsored placement identifies paid exposure, not PickApps endorsement. Sponsorship may appear in addition to the product's ordinary directory listing.

Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy.

User Content

You retain your rights in submitted names, descriptions, logos, screenshots, and other materials. You grant PickApps a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, categorize, display, distribute, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate and market the directory and your listing.

You may request correction or removal of a listing, but PickApps may retain records where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Submit or promote spam, low-quality or deceptive products, adult content, dating services, gambling products, malware, phishing, unlawful content, infringing material, fake listings, or unauthorized download or streaming services.
• Impersonate another person or submit a product without authorization.
• Manipulate reviews, rankings, sponsorships, payments, or access controls.
• Scrape, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with PickApps except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Use PickApps to violate another person's rights or applicable law.

Third-Party Services

Third-party tools, listings, and links are controlled by their respective providers. PickApps does not guarantee their availability, security, legality, pricing, data practices, accuracy, or performance. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Intellectual Property and Rights Concerns

PickApps and its original site content, design, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. If you believe a listing or submitted material infringes your rights, email support@pickapps.org with the relevant URL, an explanation of your rights, and enough information for us to review the concern.

Availability and Disclaimers

PickApps is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PickApps disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PickApps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to PickApps or third-party listings.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may update these Terms as PickApps or legal requirements change. We may suspend accounts, decline submissions, or remove listings when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, service integrity, or enforcement of these Terms.

The updated date shown above identifies the current version. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
