What is Kick?

Kick is an agentic bookkeeping and accounting platform for entrepreneurs, multi-business owners, accountants, and finance professionals. It categorizes transactions in real time, matches receipts and documents, applies customized rules, and produces financial reports that can be shared with an accountant.

Transaction categorization and rules

Kick suggests categories for business transactions and can turn confirmed decisions into rules. Rules can use multiple conditions and actions across entities, while automatic transfer matching and counterparty detection reduce repetitive ledger work.

Receipts, statements, and imports

Receipts, bills, and invoices can be uploaded or sent to the platform for matching. Paid plans add statement synchronization and a universal importer for PDF or CSV bank and card statements.

Tax-ready reports

Kick provides a general ledger, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, trial balance, vendor-spend reports, and a year-end tax package. Multi-entity features cover intercompany transfers, ownership relationships, consolidation, and reporting by class, department, location, project, service, or product.

Kick connections and collaboration

Kick connects with financial tools including Stripe, PayPal, Mercury, Plaid, Ramp, and other supported services. Accountants can review books and expert support is available through higher plans or accountant-matching arrangements.

Kick plans

Free supports one entity and up to 250 transactions per year with core categorization, receipt matching, and financial statements. Basic removes the annual transaction cap and adds reconciliation, statement sync, and importing. Plus adds multi-entity and accrual workflows, classes, and accounts-receivable or accounts-payable automation. Advanced adds migration, training, consolidation, deduction optimization, and dedicated support for more complex businesses.
