Geozee

What is Geozee?

Geozee is a free daily geography category puzzle brought to you by Worldle. Each round gives you nine countries and nine categories. Your task is to place every country into the unused category where it will score best. Each placement is worth 0 to 100 points, so a complete round has a maximum score of 900.

How to play Geozee

Read the current country

Countries appear one at a time. Consider the country shown and compare it with every category still available on the board.

Choose the strongest remaining category

Select the category where that country should earn the most points. A strong match now may use a category that would have been even better for a later country, so the order of your choices matters.

Commit the placement

Once a country is placed, the choice cannot be changed. After all nine placements, Geozee totals the scores and shows how the result compares with other players who completed that daily round.

Geozee category scoring

Categories can measure country facts such as population, land area, average temperature, or whether a national flag contains a star. The Category Atlas explains the formula and data source used by each category. Geozee says most figures come from Wikipedia and are refreshed monthly, while some categories use sources such as the World Bank or dedicated Wikipedia lists.

Geozee game modes and replay options

Daily puzzle

The daily puzzle provides one new nine-country round. Completing consecutive daily rounds builds a streak, and the first score for each day is the result recorded in your stats.

Unlimited mode

Unlimited mode generates more rounds with random countries and categories. It is intended for practice and repeat play, and its results do not change the daily streak or daily score.

Archive

The Archive keeps past daily rounds available. You can return to a missed puzzle or replay a completed day, but a replay does not replace the first score saved for that date.

Geozee progress and account options

Geozee works without registration and saves progress on the current device. Its stats view tracks results including current and longest streaks, best and average scores, days played, and the best Unlimited score. A free Teuteuf account can sync streaks and scores across devices. Geozee can also be installed from a supported browser as a Progressive Web App.
