What is Clean Voice?

Clean Voice is a web tool that removes background noise from audio and video recordings. It is aimed at people who record in everyday spaces and want podcasts, interviews, online courses, voiceovers, video calls and social clips to be easier to hear, without learning editing software. For video files, the soundtrack is cleaned while the original picture is preserved.

The site includes a before-and-after demo for comparing the original and cleaned soundtrack.

How to use Clean Voice?

1. Drag and drop an audio or video file. Selecting a file keeps it in your browser, and upload only begins after you sign in and start the task.
2. Let the cleanup run. Processing uses expiring signed links instead of permanent public media URLs.
3. Download or export the cleaned file from your Activity history.

Supported audio formats are MP3, M4A, WAV and AAC. Supported video formats are MP4, MOV and WebM. Regular tasks accept files up to 1 GB and 30 minutes by default.

Pay-as-you-go packs are $11 for 5 hours, $20 for 10 hours and $45 for 30 hours, and purchased credits stay valid for 2 years. Subscriptions start at $11 per month for 10 hours, with higher tiers at $30 for 30 hours and $90 for 100 hours. Unused subscription credits roll over up to three times the plan limit.
